The Shires Sweet Iron Full Cheek Jointed Snaffles are single jointed with full cheeks and a Sweet Iron mouthpiece with copper inserts.
The Sweet Iron is darker in colour and designed to oxidise and produce a sweet taste to help with mouthing as it encourages salivation and acceptance of the bit.
The copper inserts add warmth as well as salivation and softening of the mouth. The fixed rings prevent pinching and full cheeks help with steering and are made of stainless steel.
