Shires Hollow Mouth Racing Snaffle – 75mm Rings

The Shires Hollow Mouth Loose Ring Snaffles are a single jointed bit, which creates a nutcracker action within the mouth, so it is considered to be more severe than the French link or lozenge.

The hollow mouthpiece means that it is lighter than a standard Snaffle.

Due to the lightweight nature of the hollow mouth bits, they are considered to be softer than the solid bits and the large (75mm) loose rings help prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth.
