The Shires Equestrian Beval or Loop Ring Bits come with a Copper Lozenge making it a double-jointed bit.
The copper lozenge link removes the nutcracker action within the mouth, so is considered to be less severe than single joint and the copper helps with mouthing and salivation.
The placement of the rein in the bottom loop (within the snaffle ring) acts to increase pressure on the poll when the rein aid is applied.
The bevel bit or wilke is an ideal bit for use in the showring.
Made of stainless steel with a copper lozenge
4.5″-5″ bits have a 55mm ring
5.5″-6″ bits have 70mm rings
