The GreenGuard grazing muzzles are ideal for horses that carry excess weight, are good doers or are at risk of laminitis from metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance or cushings.  (Headcollars sold separately)

The Greenguard grazing muzzles allow unrestricted breathing and drinking, whilst enabling a little and often grazing habit to be encouraged.

Easy to attach to a headcollar, the greenguard grazing muzzle has adjustable straps for a perfect fit, plus the greenguard muzzle is safe, pliable and made of food grade material.

Grazing muzzles are proven to help horses and ponies control their grass intake when they are on controlled or restricted feeding regimes. Muzzles should be used when horses or ponies need to lose weight or when they are struggling with insulin resistance due to metabolic syndrome or cushings.

Grazing muzzles have been shown to reduce dry matter intake by 80% by significantly reducing bite size and grass intake.

Grazing muzzles are also effective all year around if required and seem to increase the amount of time a horse or pony spends foraging and finding food to eat.
