The Mullen Mouth (straight bar) Flexi Nylon pelham is one of the least severe of all the pelhams.
The lack of joint in the mouthpiece removes the nutcracker action and the bar is slightly curved to help alleviate tongue pressure.
The mullen mouth pelham is good for horses that are reluctant to take the contact in a french link or jointed pelham. The nylon flexible mouthpiece is very gentle on the horses mouth.
